NDSM-wharf

The NDSM-wharf, in use till 1984, will be transformed in an area with housing, offices and cultural spaces. The former NDSM-hall is in use by artists, the crane is an hotel with three rooms and Greenpeace is located in the former Forge. Students where the first to live on the site: ten years in temporary containers, since half a year in a new building.

A tour over the NDSM-site can very well be combined with a tour over the Buiksloterham or Overhoeks – the former Shell site, where the beautiful Film Museum EYE is located.
